Amazing Stay
I stayed in room 3 and I really enjoyed my 5 nights there. It was very clean, comfortable and peaceful away from the busy crowds in the centre of Margate. The sea views from the guesthouse are amazing and a sparkling swimming pool to cool down in the afternoon. The breakfast was scrumptious and delicious with good portions. Sharonn and her staff were amazing and made me feel at home. I would highly recommend Beachcomber Bay Guesthouse as a home away from home.

Sharon is an amazing hostess, and so is her staff. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, and Sharon made us feel at home immediately. The room was amazing, and so was the seaview. Everything we expected and more! The staff members were friendly and professional, our room was cleaned every day and fresh linen on the beds. We also had a lovely filling breakfast every morning. Sharon was also very helpful in sharing tips on good food and fun for the kids in the area. Clementine, her friendly dog, was overwhelmed with hugs and kisses and a good scratch every morning, we shall miss Sharon and Clementine dearly. Last, but not least, it is definitely a good dolphin spotting area, we were blessed to see the dolphins play around every day. We will definitely return, thank you Sharon.

My mother and I absolutely loved the sea view. The seaview is Truly spectacular. Lovely staff and breakfast. Host is lovely. Short walk and access to the beach. Linen was clean and fresh. Ferial and Shah Singh

Rejuvenating!
This is a beautiful place which offers beautiful seaview rooms. You get to see and be very close to the ocean everytime of the day. The place has private access to the beach. There are useful facilities such as jacuzzi, pool, braai place which are also overlooking the ocean. The area is very quiet, excellent for relaxing.

Great location. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels.The staff are incredibly friendly and polite. I will recommend family and friends.
There was nothing I didn't like.

My husband and I stayed at Beachcomber Bay in September 2021 for 3 nights. What a wonderful experience. With a view of the coast line, access to the beach, and the availability of the pool, sauna, and hot tub, this is a place you want to return to time and again. The penthouse suite has a fabulous balcony and it was so refreshing to be able to relax with the ocean waves to sleep by. Susan, the host, was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to make us comfortable. A short walk takes you to a diversity of ethnic restaurants. With easy access to the highway, other sites in the "tourist areas" were easily accessible. The morning breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Parking is available inside the compound. This reasonably priced quiet, comfortable, with lots of amenities hotel is a wonderful place to stay.Show less

Room tip: The penthouse suite has the best view of all!

I enjoyed my stay at the guest house so much that I extended my trip and booked my parents a room for the weekend too. Sharon was a wonderful host and really made me feel welcome and at home. The staff at the property were as equally accommodating and went out of their way to assist me. The views are incredible and the property had a very peaceful atmosphere and it feels very safe, especially if you are travelling alone. Most days all you can hear is the sound of the ocean which made it an ideal location while working remotely. The WIFI connection was very reliable. Very clean. The staff at the lodge do a very thorough clean before and after receiving guests and gave my room the same attention while I was there every day. Their breakfast was incredible!! The best part of my stay was being greeted by the cutest little Bulldog upon my arrival and every now and then she would wander past my room to say hello. She's a very quiet and peaceful little dog and really adds to the lovely environment. If you are looking for a little getaway or location for a work trip I highly recommend this beautiful guest house.
Everything was absolutely incredible. Had no complaints whatsoever during my stay.

Loved that the beach was so close, the room was nice and big, the owner was welcoming, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the place was clean and the pool area was great. We felt at home, we are definitely going back!

My three friends and I enjoyed an exquisite two night stay at this essentially-African, very personally supervised B&B hotel. Its own private access to the beach, and an early morning swim in the Indian Ocean before breakfast made its location superb, and our stay unforgettable. Owners Sharon and Trevor were extremely caring hosts. Our rooms were all most comfortable and adequate for our needs.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay. Very comfortable accomodation...beautiful sea views...excellent management..homely peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely return.
